Jeffrey Long, PT, DPT, OCS, CMPT, CSCS, Dry Needling Certified
Jeff is one of the Physical Therapists and owners here at Physiopros Performance Rehab. Jeff has been practicing Physical Therapy since graduating from Touro College’s Physical Therapy program in September of 2018. He has a passion for developing personalized treatment plans that focus on optimizing movement, regaining quality of life, and helping patients achieve their goals of returning to the activities that they love to do.
Physical Therapy Journey
Jeff’s Physical Therapy journey began when he was in a serious car accident and broke his neck over 10 years ago. He experienced firsthand the positive outcomes and influence Physical Therapy can have on someone’s life and well-being and, as a result, decided that this was the career he wanted to pursue. Firstly, he began by studying at William Paterson University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science with honors in 2014. After graduating, he applied and was accepted into Touro College’s Physical Therapy program, which he began in the fall of 2015. Subsequently, he graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences in 2018 and received awards of academic achievement and clinical excellence for his performance in the classroom as well as the clinic.
Post-Graduation
Since graduating, Jeff has been working mainly in the outpatient orthopedic setting where he has gained experience in treating various musculoskeletal and neuromuscular injuries and ailments involving all body parts. Additionally, he has experience working with all age groups ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. During his time working as a Physical Therapist, he has pursued and achieved certifications in the following: Orthopedic Clinical Specialist from The American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, Manual Physical Therapist from The North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, and Strength and Conditioning Specialist from The National Strength and Conditioning Association.
During his free time, he loves to travel, cook, ski, exercise, train Muay Thai, and spend time with his family and friends. Jeff looks forward to continuing to learn and grow as a clinician while positively impacting the lives of the clients here at Physiopros Performance Rehab.
Fady Youssef, PT, DPT, OCS, CMPT, CSCS, Dry Needling Certified
Fady, one of the Physical Therapists and owners here at Physiopros Performance Rehab, earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro College in 2018. His interest in physical therapy came from his own experiences with being injured while playing sports during his high school and college years. The injuries he experienced while wrestling, playing football, track, and weightlifting led him to experience physical therapy first-hand and, as a result, helped him grow his passion for the profession.
Physical Therapy Journey
He now uses his own experiences and athletic background to improve the lives of those he treats. He enjoys treating a variety of patients, including those with orthopedic, sports, neurological, and cardiopulmonary injuries. Additionally, he has over three years of experience in treating many patient populations that range from pediatrics, geriatrics, and everything in between.
Commitment to Learning
In addition, he is committed to continued learning and education in order to improve himself and those whom he serves. Along his physical therapy career, he has received his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification as well as his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Certification. Furthermore, he is a trained Certified Manual Therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. He is also a trained Holistic Lifestyle Coach through the Chek Institute.
Pain and injury are usually not simple. Human beings are complex, and as such, they require a multi-faceted approach to their injuries. Therefore, Fady is committed to using this approach when helping his patients recover and get back to living healthy, happy, and fulfilling lives. Ultimately, that is the excellence we strive for at Physiopros Performance Rehab.
